Create FL from Alignment. Dynamic Link option DISABLED?

Home>Create Design>Feature Line>Create from Alignment

At the bottom of the dialog is an option to maintain a link to the alignment -- but it's disabled.  Any idea why/how to enable it?

Here's what the help says:

Create Dynamic Link to the Alignment

Creates a dynamic link to the alignment so that the feature line updates dynamically with any changes to the alignment or the selected vertical alignment. If the feature line is created with the dynamic link, the link can be disabled, using the Feature Line Properties dialog box. If the dynamic link is disabled, it cannot be restored.

• Selected: The feature line is linked to the alignment.
• Cleared: The feature line is not linked to the alignment and can be edited with any of the feature line editing commands.

I believe it requires a profile in order to be dynamic.

Thanks Jeff. That makes sense. I guess I misread the help. When it said it would update upon changes to the horizontal OR vertical alignment, I had it stuck in my head that I could link it to just one.
