Could Not Find Alignment - help

After successfully creating existing and proposed surfaces and a volume surface with the help of Allan and bforr (much thanks),

i need to create a profile view but im getting the error :Could Not Find Alignment

if i use the quick profile i get a perfect profile of exactly what i need but i need one that is permanent. I've created a line at the correct elevation to represent my base flood elevation. i need the profile to show existing and proposed grades as well as the line representing the base flood.

Was i supposed to create an alignment somewhere?

file attached.

Hi @cadman33619, to have permanent profiles in C3D you must have an alignment.

So I exploded your featureline and used the same line to create an alignment from objects _AeccCreateAlignmentEntities

Here is a short video that shows how to create the profile:

Hope this will help!
