Corridor Sideslope to a Specified Height UNLESS it Daylights First

So I'm struggling with this one so as I'm trying to figure it out, I'll also put this out to the forum to see.  I need to model a liner in a canal corridor. The liner goes up to a max height of 2.5 m up the sideslope where it will be keyed in UNLESS it daylights first, where it will be tied in at that point. I would say these conditions are split 50/50 along the corridor length and I need to do it for two different corridors.

I have been going through the out of the box assemblies and trying different ones and haven't been able to recreate what I need along the corridor. Has anybody here had to perform this or know how to get the result I'm looking for?

Thanks!

Use Subassembly Composer.

You'll create an Auxiliary Point at daylight, then add a Decision, which will compare AP elevation to the HingePoint elevation, something like (ap1.y - p4.y) > 5.0. P4 being the hinge point and ap1 being the test point.
