Corridor Lane Transition Targets

I'm targeting an alignment from two directions, and I'm getting weird contours from the resulting top surface.

I subsequently created a 2nd parallel alignment 0.05' away from the first, then targeted each separately, and I'm getting the same result.

I checked my target profile, and there's nothing special about it.  No spikes as would be indicated by the contours.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Hi,

If possible please upload the dwg.

In the mean time see whether there are pasted surfaces or other surface contours turned on.

Thanks

it looks like the top surface generated from the top links is arbitrarily making spikes in the surface.  In the screen capture, you can see the corridor being smooth and consistent, with surface spikes deviating from the surafce.  I have created the surface from Top Links, Add as Breakline, Overhang Correction on.
