You have AutoCAD & Map 3D 2017. Dave has Map & Civil 3D 2016. I noticed that Dave showed a Toolspace in one of his images that I don't think exists in Map. I thought when you said you didn't have setting on the TaskPane you might have mistaken the Toolspace for the Taskpane. That's all.

OK. You've doubled up on the Location, All. I don't think that will hurt anything. The second image show's you're trying to Query from an open drawing. Save and close that drawing before you run the Query.

Pat,

Allen is right. I steered you wrong. You have Map 3D, not Civil 3D, so you'll have to change your units from Feet to Meters with command -DWGUNITS (dash in front):

Units1.png

Then you can change your Coordinate System with MAPCSASSIGN.

Have you found your original data yet? Not the drawing, but the original data from the OSI site.

Pat,

I've looked at your atricia.Kwasniak.dwg, and I'm perplexed. In order to get the linework to match Bing Live Maps, I had to use AutoCAD commands MOVE and SCALE (X 2.385!) to get it to approximately match:

Drawing is attached. We can go no further with this one until the original data is discovered.

Dave,

That scale factor isnt' exact. But do you think it might indicate an Inch to CM conversion, 2.54?

Allen,

Could be. It certainly isn't a feet-to-meter conversion. My 2.385 number is based on comparing linework and Bing distances in the Dardistown Cemetary. We really need Pat to come up with the original data. The OSI site is a pay-for-data site, and you can't even see exactly what they've got until you whip out your wallet.
