Converting spherical lat long projection into UTM coordinates

I have a .dwg road map in latitude/longitude coordinates. I need to convert into a utm zone 17 nad83 coordinate system. It's a road map of a small town and the roads are represented by simple lines.

I tried copying the lines into a new drawing with the UTM coordinate system, but the vertical projection is not correct. There is a roundabout that I know should be spherical in the UTM projection, but it is a squished circle or ellipse in both drawings.

Is there a way to transform the drawing accurately?

I need the result to be in metres of northing and easting.

BNI,

Assign an LL83 coordinate system to your "goderich map trimmed lat long.dwg". Save and Close.

Open a new drawing and assign a UTM83-17 Coordinate System.

Attach and Query the "goderich map trimmed lat long.dwg". All is good. Drawing attached.

Dear All,

can someone help for following error is from Map 3d 2019 , drawing coordination is disabled, we are here using 40S, we are Engineers from Road Development Authority of Mauritius.

We had meeting with IDEATE Technologies, is there an Engineers specialised that can help for.

Note that on Map 3d 2015 we did not encounter any problem for coordination from UTM to LGM format.
