I use the surveyfiguresto2dpolylines to convert figures in a base drawing. Is there a way to convert the survey cogo points to blocks that retain the survey layer, not go to 0, and are annotative?
(Getting back to using survey in C3D)
I got it to work. After I convert to figures to polylines, export civil 3d to Acad. Just make sure it's only has the linework and blocks visible, no points. Basic base drawing.
Hope this helps somone.
If you Explode twice, you will have a block that is the point symbol and a block that is the labeling. They will not be annotative unless you use the Block Editor to enable that property. If you do that before the double explode, then the resultant blocks will be annotative.
They will also be all on layer 0. That's a no go, they have to be on the layer they where originally. With the way I did it the blocks say they are not annotative but they are, and original layer.
Actually found an easier solution. Run the lisp to convert figures to 2d polylines. Remove figures. Change the prospector to have the "no display + sym" to be first. Us the quick select to explode all cogo points. This deletes the points from the file and leaves the symbol on the correct layer. Says the symbols aren't annotative but they are.
Hi, I'm not too familiar with the utility, but what about using the built-in "Create Blocks from Cogo Points"
