Connected Alignment between same Alignment

Hi all,

I have almost finished my corridor design.

My last issue: I need to connect a looping alignment.  Is it possible to create a connected alignment to bridge a gap between two points on the same alignment?  I have an alignment that loops back onto itself.

Or do I need to split my alignment, and if so can this be done without losing my profile and offset alignments?

"Two separate alignments must be selected".

Rather than trying to split your existing alignment and getting god-knows-what results to your existing profiles and corridor baselines, I recommend duplicating it instead. Just cut off the tail end of the copied alignment so that your starting station is maintained.
