Hi,

Some issue here :

but in  style of this label i  set manual layer 2.png

I found in draw settings that label, corridor or other object going to  specific layer, and overdrive my setstyle that i  made. For me it's issue of software and should be fixed.

That is not how Civil 3D works, now or ever. Objects are placed on the layers set in the Drawing Setting, Object Layers. If you want something different, you can create programs to automatically change the layer but Autodesk will likely not be changing how C3D operates in that regard.

Hi @mateusz.dunaj

Your drawing is behaving as Intended!

Think of Civil 3D Objects and Label style just like how AutoCAD blocks operate. You can have block geometry (Linework) components on a layer and then place the whole Block as a single entity on a different layer. (Often times we define block Linework on Layer 0 to ovoid this layer confusion) similarly a Civil 3D Label is composed of components (And they can have layers defined) and then the whole label as a single entity can be on a different layer in the host drawing, to avoid this confusion you want to utilize layer 0 somewhere in your workflow (just like how you treat AutoCAD Blocks)

hope this helps,

I will second what Jeff said.

The main layer that your objects are placed on when you create them is set up in Drawing Utilities -> Drawing Settings. This is a physical layer that the objects are on and you can freeze them as such.

The layer that is inside the style is more of a Child Type Layer, which means the objects are NOT placed on that layer, however the items within the objects are display controlled by that layer.

Freezing either of those layers will result in your objects turning off.

The only problem is that if you'd like to freeze the child layer you'd better know what it is.  Because the properties box is no help.  So you root around and have to go into the styles just to find the layer, that's time well spent.  That is if you know how to do that.  Not everyone is a power user or has years of experience under their belt.  It may behave as intended but it's a poor, poor workflow.

If I'm wrong please let me know, I'll happily apologize.
