The best way to pass informaiton to revit is using IFC.
It does take information across saved as property set data but if none exists it won't.
Using this and linking the IFC will create revit acceptable geometry which can be shown on sections but remains static / uneditable in revit.
The other option is a 3d solid (switch to 3d view, explode twice. This needs the Revit user to insert into a Generic Mass part then insert.
Problems exist with coordination, Revit doesn't use World coordinates like Civil3d however the coordinate system can be set up (in Revit) to enable overlay by shared coordinated but it is far better to also include a 3d cube at a known location (building grid, survey grid intersection) and a set level at the underside.
In this way the Revit user can check the insertion location is correct.
