Civil 3D Icon

When I click on the 3D Civil Icon, it starts AutoCAD without the 3D Civil. How do I fix this issue.

Which Icon are you clicking, the Desktop Shortcut or the one in the Start Menu?

And which WorkSpace shows in the Lower Status Bar?

I get AutoCAD even when I click on 3D Civil.

Start Button >> Programs >> Autodesk, does yours look something like this:

Right click on the shortcut (the "icon") that you use to start the program.  Click on Properties.  What does it say in the Target field (copy/paste the entire field verbatim please).

I had to delete the user profile from registry and rename profile in users. Relogin which created a new profile. Then the icon worked fust fine.

The best solution for this is usually resetting Civil 3D. You'll find a tool in the windows start menu, under Civil 3D called "reset...". I can't remember the exact wording.

"Reset Settings to Default"

I suppose that also deletes any user profiles, so would probably also work.

Thanks for the verbiage, I'm not at my computer. Yes, this will reset everything to a just-installed condition. Personal profiles will be removed.
