Civil 3d does not run in my HP ZBook, something about the GPU

When I open my Civil 3D 2009, it presents a message about "AutoCAD requires 1024 by 768 resolution or higher to run" and it proceed to open the app but it opens in a very small format and do not fill the screen...

Please HELP!!!

No, I believe it runs ok when connected to external screens. The problem is when I try to use it with the laptop monitor.

Which Z Book is it? What are the specs on the graphics card and screen?

What Windows version are you using? C3D 2009 is not supported on Windows 10. I'm not even sure it was 64-bit.
