Civil 3D Application Menu shows AutoCAD options

Hello, our CAD team has created a few different client profiles, and in one of them the application menu (the big blue 'C' at the top left) is not showing the "Export Civil 3D Drawing" button.  On further investigation, it seems the application menu is what would be seen if it were AutoCAD instead of Civil3D.  The actual command (_EXPORTC3DDRAWING) still works, and I've not seen any other 'AutoCAD' features in the drawing.  I've looked at the support paths, the arg file, compared profiles with the proper application menu, but can't find the solution.  Any ideas?

Thanks

When the profile was created it was probably created from AutoCAD or similar.  This can cause you to have the Red A instead of the Blue C.

Thanks @brian.strandberg, yeah that might be the case.  It's strange though, I still see the blue 'C' as the icon.  In any case, is there a way to fix this without recreating the environment from scratch?

Try exporting the profile from one that has it correctly (OPTIONS command, profiles tab, export), and import it into the offending installation, also from the OPTIONS command.  Select and make it current and restart CAD.

If you are starting CAD from a desktop shortcut it may include a /p switch it will still launch to the old profile.  You may need to edit it.  I can see this if I select the desktop shortcut, right click and look at the Target: Properties.  Here is mine below so you can see what I am talking about.

"C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2022\acad.exe" /ld "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2022\AecBase.dbx" /p "<<C3D_Imperial>>" /product C3D /language en-US
