Civil 3D 2021 dwg to pdf plot driver issue

Every few generations of AutoCAD there is an issue with the dwgtopdf.pc3 file embedded within the program. Why is this a returning issue and how can I email bomb someone to make it right again?! They are unwilling to do the screening workaround and using the AdobePDF driver creates huge files (I'm told due to my poly vp outline) and even trying to plot the PDF to a reduced size only creates a bigger monster.

Guess I really came here to vent a little, thanks for listening.

Hello @srowland4PKTE I understand your need to vent, but, if I was your AutoCAD counselor, I would suggest that you have not described your actual problem, just that it upsets you.

You are correct, sir.

Apologies.

Since the release of one of the service packages for Civil 3D 2021 all the wipeouts in my cogo points are changed to soilds and blacked out upon plotting (shows up in the created PDF and not just when printing a hardcopy) when using the dwgtopdf.pcs driver. Using the AdobePDF.pc3 causes files to be very large and take up to 20 minutes to generate. Even attempting to reduce the size in Adobe sometimes creates bigger files. There are a few workarounds: (1) change the screening of the wipeout later - white/7 - however that was not viable (2) print straight to the plotter and scan (3) keep trying to reduce the PDF size until manageale (4) use dropbox or any ftp sharing to get them on their way.

Have you added actual Wipeouts to the COGO Point styles or Label Styles? What if you just turn on the background masking that is available for each label component?

It is affecting the wipeout embedded within blocks that are used by the cogo points. All over wipeouts in blocks are working fine.
