Civil 3d 2020 Pipe Network Syncing Styles

When i synchronize the pipe network, all of the pipe styles that i've changed switch back to match the original style in the source drawing. Does anyone else have this issue or is it supposed to do this?

I found that the PIPENETWORKSYNCMODE system variable is causing this if it is set to 2. If it is set to 0 or 1 then the styles don't revert to styles set in the source drawing.

I'm running 2020.3 and mine does not change the styles in my data referenced pipe network if I assigned a different one than the base file. The only time it changes is if I swap part in the base and they open or sync the data referenced file.

For me, the PIPENETWORKSYNCMODE system variable set to 0, 1 or 2 gives the same results.

Same here, doesn't change anything with the style sync.
