Civil 3D 2019 Corridor Target Problem

we have a problem with the 2019 version of the program. When we define the horizontal target corridor occurs in a defective way. Corridor cross-sections cannot be formed at the beginning and end of the corridor. The surface model is also formed in a defective manner.

 

How can we handle this problem?

At your region start and end stations, the distance from baseline to target line is 0.00000000. That's why you're not getting those sections. How to fix it? Be sure there is some separation between baseline and target, even just a tenth of a millimeter, at all stations where you want sections.

Hi @KorayGonen6874,

 

I agree with @tcorey the issue is with your horizontal target = 0. If you make it close to zero then it will work. For more information about this please see my <AU class in 2017 Link> and refer to 36:00 to 42:07.

Also, please make sure when you create a sample line you add the start and end section. See animated gif below.

Thanks for the solution,

 

But you now that, we are using fillet arcs at intersection design (primary road crown maintained screnario) and there are hundreds of them. It is sometimes forgettable, instead of doing two times offsetting each time. Maybe autodesk programmers should publish the hotfix. Then the program can detect the tolerance and what it should do for it.

Check out the "Offset Target" section of the frequency settings.  It *should* add sections at those points, if it is set to do so.  I am skeptical, since in 2019, it seems to, at random, single sections, ignore horizontal targets.

 

I was hoping for improvements in the software, not more headaches, and more fancy graphical features that look pretty, but detract from usability (like the really thick, blue, framing of the current viewport that covers over the offset and elevation labels in the corridor section editor).  Ugh.  I should have known when someone allowed US Foot to be added, making the legacy foot an international foot that they had finally jumped the shark.  Corridors used to be very predictable and reliable.
