I am not getting Transparent commands when I right-click while editing a Profile... It just cancels the command.

What am I missing?

Hey @fcernst,

I tested this and confirmed the same behavior as far back as 2016. After double checking with development, they confirmed that both the alignment and profile layout tools have used right-click to end a command for a long, long time.

The Update says the Transparent Commands are now accessible using right-click:

That unfortunately doesn't apply to all commands. I'll look into making a change to the read-me to avoid confusion.

Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Thanks Mike, but can you tell us here now what commands the Transparent Command right-click functionality does apply to?

Fred,

Not sure if this is an option for you or not but if you turn on the time-sensitive right-click option, it works.

When I was doing design back in LDT, I always had that turned on. Nowadays, since I'm constantly teaching on systems that are default, out of the box installed, I leave it turned off because it's different than what I'll see in my classes. It's the same reason I don't install any lisp routines on my system. I don't want to get into class, and expect to do something one way and not have access to it or, do something my students won't be able to do on their systems.
