I have a had a few issues with Civil 3D 2018 after installing update 2018.2.
Has anyone else had issues with plan and profiles showing vertical alignment geometry (PVIs, vertical curve extension lines, etc.) outside of your profile view limits? (see attached image) To get around this issue, I've uninstalled the latest update. Has anyone figured out a way to fix this issue other than uninstalling the update?
Has anyone else had an issue with getting the convertlineworktomaskblock command to fully work? The command will work occasionally, but most of the time it does not hide profile linework like I want it to. If the maskblock works, it changes the textstyle on the profile view that I am using the block on. As a work around, I've just been using wipeouts.
Has anyone else had issues with saving their file after projecting points to a profile view? If I purge and audit the drawing several times, I can finally save the drawing. I've tried doing all the basic "fixes" that I can think of to prevent this from happening--run a recovery, purge & audit, purge unused styles, wblock the problem drawing and all xrefs used in the drawing.
Hopefully the next update will fix these issues instead of creating more issues.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
