Civil 3D 2016 and Windows 10

Was going to upgrade to Windows 10 & was wondering if both

Civil 3d 2015 & 2016 will run on this OS..

I'm running 2016 on Windows 10.  I'm submitting CERs almost daily from C3D crashes, but it may or may not be Autodesk's fault....

I have been running c3d 2016 and win 10 for 10 months
no crashes, I only do surveying no civil design
the file dialog box is wonky but otherwise works great for me

Hi,

if you do have a stable system, hold it in that state. I don't see advantages to update to Windows 10.

And if you want to use Windows 10, then do not update, but run a fresh install on a formatted harddisk and make sure to have new drivers for your hardware (which are built for Windows 10). By any chance test first (on a test system) that your plotter runs with Windows 10, most messages I see is that plotting has issues with older plotters.

I do not see troubles with C3D 2016 or 2017 with Windows 10 (which would not have occured in older Windows releases too).

I'm also having C3D 2015 installed and it works, but that is only for testing, not the daily work so I can't say if it is more or less stable in Windows 10.
