Hi All:
If you have not implanted the fix at: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-civil-3d/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticl... your companies PC, I suggest doing so. It made a SIGNIFICANT difference in the program performance for us (on v2014).

is the fix only for civil3d installations? I have users opening civil3d files with vanilla acad and Building design suites products?

no it doesn't look like it that directory is for all Autocad based products from 2015 - 2017
the 2014 directory seems to be specific to Civil 3D

Is there any background information as to why this happened? We started to only notice this issue the last few weeks and are just now implementing the fix.
