Hi Neil,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention and for proactively creating a case with our support team. I'll monitor the case's progress and see if there are any additional reports of similar issues.

In the meantime, I'll also test the update on my machine to see if I encounter similar difficulties and will report back promptly.

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this.

@lim.wendy thanks for the reply.

I have just done a full uninstall and the reinstall is still doing the same "Loading...." perhaps because the download included the 2025.1 update for AutoCAD

Uninstalled Civil 2025 and installed standalone AutoCAD 2025.1 - which started up with no issues

... and reinstalled Civil 3D and still back to the same "Loading.." issue - this appear after the support files have been loaded

...and since installing Civil, vanilla AutoCAD won't start - stuck at loading

Just uninstalled Civil (again), and vanilla AutoCAD works with no issues.

I'd also confirm that the version of Civil is the British English rather than the English Version

@lim.wendy I just installed the US English version and Civil started up with no issues suggesting an issue with the British English version...problem is I don't want the US English Version on my machine...!!!!

Hi Neil,

I just downloaded and installed the UK version this morning. It already includes the AutoCAD 2025.1 update, and I was able to launch it.

You might want to try a fresh download from your Autodesk Account.

Sorry for the trouble.

@lim.wendy thanks for this - I did try downloading again from my account and got the same thing - all the dlls, arx etc load and then it just hangs on loading.

I have now removed Civil 3D 2025 from my machine and have reverted back to 2024 until I can get back into the office and get elevated permission to try and reinstall 2025.

Sorry about that, Neil. I hope you’re able to sort it out with admin privileges.
