Changing Sub Assemblies

Good Evening All

I would like to know how would you change a sub-assembly from LaneSuperelevationAOR to LaneOutsideSuperLayerVaryingWidth, without starting afresh/creating a new sub-assembly? Is there a way you can change this in Properties or somewhere else?

I have attached 2 pictures here, first one is the existing sub-assembly (needs to be changed), and the second one is the desired sub-assembly (screenshot from previous project). I just need the layerworks to have an outside extended width.

Thank you in advance.

In your tool palette take a look at the conditional subasseblies tab. Conditional horizontal target will allow your to switch from one subassembly to another

Conditional may be appropriate but if you want to replace it... select the replacement and look at the command line there is an option to replace.

If the sub is on another assembly that has all the parameters set that you wish.
you can make a temp palette, drag the sub to it then select and treat as described

Hi @wvakala

Please review this AKN on how To Insert and Replace Sub-Assemblies and video How to Modify Sub-Assembly Properties which will show you how to replace, move and copy a sub-assembly without starting a new sub-assembly.  Hope this helps!
