Change Style to Hatch for Volume XSections

This is a very simple question, but I can't seem to figure it out. I have completed the main portion of my file, but my editor has requested the areas I have selected to cut, have a cross hatch style. Right now I am unable to change them from solid grey. Is there a way to do this after the volumes have been generated?

I tried changing the style in the toolspace settings, but it didn't apply.

Select a section view, Find and click 'Compute materials' in the ribbon. Make sure the correct alignment and sample line groups a selected and select OK. Find 'ground removed' (or possible another term if it was changed from defaults) in the materials list, select the shape style on that row and change to 'Cut Material'. Choose to Edit the cut material style, in the style dialog change to the 'Display' tab, in the drop down for 'view direction' pick 'Section'. Turn on the shape area fill and Make note of the layer, set the desired hatch pattern (ansi137 is typically used) and scale to match you horizontal drawing scale. Ok all dialogs, verify the layer for the section area fill is on and not frozen. Regenerate the drawing and the cut material should be the selected hatch. If it does not try editing the shape style to increase/decrease the hatch scale by factors of 5 until it displays.
