First off, I want to say that I am not the most advanced AutoCAD user, and I've been using it about a year. I am trying to design a grassed waterway, and I'm working with alignments and profiles. The project has been totally fine for weeks, but yesterday I started having an issue. I'm trying to adjust my profile design line in the profile. I can select the end PVI point and drag it to a new location, but when I click to place it at the new location, everything freezes up. I can't type commands or anything else. The only way to unfreeze it is to use the escape key. But when I hit escape, my prfile line goes back to where it originally was. So I'm not able to adjust my profile lines. It's the same way if I try to delete the profile. It will look like it's deleted, but freeze up, and when I hit escape, the profile reappears. An error message comes up saying the system variables changed from the preferred values, but I checked them and they are what they should be. Another technician in my office has the same values as I do, and their's works fine. Any help would be appreciated!
Not sure if this is related, but when I tried to 'copyclip' my profile, it copied, but a window came up saying there was an issue saving my project?
