Can`t add boundary to a surface

Hi,

I try to add boundary to a surface but every time I add it I get error that adding boundary failed.

I was exploding boundary, recreating with BO command but it didn`t helped.

Could anyone have a look at attached drawing ?

Green line is a boundary I would like to add to a surface.

I can't do much without the XML file that defines the Surface. But without it I had no problem adding the boundary in 2021.

I attach XML file.

I tried to add boundary in C3D 2021 but it doesn`t add it properly as in C3D 2020. Have a look at screencast below:

I added the boundary to your surface w 0.001 mid-ordinate distance as you did, and it worked fine for me. One thing I did notice in your screencast -- you need to turn surface triangles on to view in object viewer.

Otherwise, all seems good.

I can add the Polyline as a boundary. But it doesn't work right. The Surface reduces to one corner. If I draw a simplified polyline. I can add it to the Surface. I think you're trying to create too complex a boundary. With the Surface you've provided. I'd simply delete the the triangles you don't want.
