Can I check the update log of civil 3d?

Anonymous
Not applicable

My customized functions has been changed. The program is not like the usual way I am familiar with so I am wondering are there any way to check what kind of updates do I have with civil 3D? Maybe the profile has been changed, maybe the system variables. I want to find out the difference between the program I used yesterday and today. Thanks!!!

Hello @Anonymous,

Here is a nice add-on for comparing drawings. It's free and super handy. Below is a nice web write-up of it and how to obtain it. This may help you in your situation.

To monitor System Variables type SYSVARMONITOR and view the variables. This does not compare with a previous version! It only returns the values as they currently sit. But if you see things out of the ordinary it may be a quick visual clue.

Hope this helps!

Also, there is a native Civil3D command to compare. _AECDWGCOMPARE

Just follow the steps in the menu that opens up. Note that it is a tool-palette and not a dialogue box.
