Calculate cut/fill areas on plan for volume surface

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if we can calculate or get cut/fill areas on plan like how much square meter of cut/fill areas on plan for given volume surface.

Assuming you have a volume surface made - do you have a surface style that shades the cut and fill?  If so you can turn on the boundaries and create a User Contour at elev zero (to create a boundary between cut/fill).  Then you can extract the boundaries & user contours as polylines and hatch the areas to get your square meters.

We have a volume legend table style that includes 2D area.

If you set up the analysis correctly then you'll get the cut area and the fill area.
