Hi everyone,

Just wondering if we can calculate or get cut/fill areas on plan like how much square meter of cut/fill areas on plan for given volume surface.

Hallo @shashimanandhar1417 ,

do you know this feature:

Here's a link to a workflow:

Kind regards,

Matt

Assuming you have a volume surface made - do you have a surface style that shades the cut and fill?  If so you can turn on the boundaries and create a User Contour at elev zero (to create a boundary between cut/fill).  Then you can extract the boundaries & user contours as polylines and hatch the areas to get your square meters.

We have a volume legend table style that includes 2D area.

If you set up the analysis correctly then you'll get the cut area and the fill area.

Thank you. This method worked and very straight forward.
