C3D polyline grip edit functionality moving from 2017 to 2019

Good Afternoon,

Our company just switched to C3D 2019 from 2017 at the turn of the year, and I've noticed I've lost some of my grip edit functionality.  Is there a setting to return grip edits to prior responsiveness? Specifically, I've noticed where previously I could grip a vertex, use ortho or an object snap to guide my direction, and input a distance, the vertex would locate to a new location in that direction at that specified distance.  Now, when following the same process, C3D resizes the polyline to the typed length rather than moving the vertex that distance.  If anyone could provide any guidance, you would help my work flow immensely. Thank you!

Thank you mate! Dynamode was set to 3, but when I tried other settings, Setting to 1 allowed me to work as I previously had. You have saved me much frustration!

I don't see that in 2019. The grip moves in the specified direction in my drawing.

Can you post a small drawing where you're having this issue? When you say "resizes the polyline". Do you mean it scales the polyline?

Edit: I had Dynmode set to 1. When I set it to 3. I got the same issue as you. Also when set to 2. So it looks like it needs to be set to 1 to have the vertex move the distance that is entered.
