C3D How do you create 3D solids using 3D polyline

Any idea how I can create a 3d solid using a 3d poly line please?

I have to do a concrete slab that is slightly twisted so I have done a 3d Poly line but when I extrude it to form the shape it will not let me impose it on to a profile or section.

The shape I created is in the right hand view port of the attached file.

Regards

Rich

You mad a surface from the 3d polys. Why not just sample the surface?

Hello @richardKTHG4

Have you tried using the CONVTOSOLID for converting elements to 3D Solids? Plase, read this AKN article on How to convert lines to 3D Solids and Creating a 3D solid which will create 3D solids. I hope this helps.

Use LOFT, SURFPATCH and SURFSCULPT if it is complex

Neil's hammer hit the nail.

One slight variation if you want to assume a uniform depth from the top. Loft and then Thicken.

Use a negative value with thicken of course.
