C3D 2026 - DREF's Not Showing Updates

Got a project on ACC with data shortcuts. Twice now I've run into issues where a data source was updated, but any drawing that has a DREF of the updated source doesn't get the notification that it needs to be sync'd. I have to manually sync them. This happened to a surface, profile and a pressure network.

So C3D 2026 has some defect going on with DREF sync notifications not working.

EDIT: If I have both the source drawing opened as well as the DREF drawing, save the source, then the DREF drawing will get a notification. If I open the DREF drawing after the source save, then there's no notification that the DREF needs to be sync'd.

Both of these scenarios sound correct. When you open the file, all DREFs are sync'd automatically at open. If you are in a "consumer" down stream file, the sync balloon should show if the source dwg is updated. We have found there is a delay at times for the sync notification to come up but it typically does.

Except the 2nd scenario isn't happening. If I open the DREF drawing there is no notification that the DREF needs sync'ing and it hasn't been sync'd. I have to manually sync the data shortcut to get the changes to show up. Previous behavior was always that the DREFs were sync'd on open, but that's no longer happening.
