Bing Maps in Bird's Eye view

Hi,

I noticed that when setting the location using Bing maps, you get the bird's eye view, which is so much clearer than aerial or hybrid. Is there a way to be able to use the bird's eye view in the actual model or map image?

Hi @bkimani9K4QY

Unfortunately no. AutoCAD cannot access Bing's bird's eye view.

The closest you can get is to use the Windows snippet tool where you can save the image and insert it as an xref. Yeah, yeah, I know, I know, it won't be scaled, rotated, or geospatially accurate, but..............it'll be that Bird's Eye View you really really want. And it won't co$t you anything.

In terms of clarity and customizable geospatial imagery, you'll be better off inve$ting in an add-on such as Nearmap or Plex-Earth.
