Best way to model this type of intersection in Civil 3D

I would like to model this type of intersection in Civil 3D, but I am having some difficulties. Could you please share any suggestions or best practices that might help? Thank you in advance.

Hi @maikelbello95,

I would Use CL Alignments for your Main & Connecting road Center Lines. Offset alignment’s for your channels, back of kerbs, verges and back of footway (basically where ever you have a constant offset). You don’t have to have offset alignments for these, but I would definitely have them for the channels.

Then connected alignments for your radius curves. Using transition kerb assemblies for your drop kerbs (UKIE), unless that walkway is raised as a result of a raised table.

Shouldn't there be some sort of plugin for ramps? Is there? I know practically nothing about Dynamo but I'm willing to stick my neck out and say that could be useful. Maybe @samir.rezk could chime in on that.

If I was going to try to make a plugin-like tool, I would explore using Corridor Transitions. They work great for driveways and you can save and replicate them.

CTC's Autograder is perfect for this. Here is a lengthy 41-minute video but excellent for what you are talking about. There is a learning curve using autograder but if you watch this through to the end you can see how with proper setup you can model several ADA Drop curbs AND ramps all at once. 

If I were doing nothing but making ramps, I would use this method all the time. My issue is I do so many different things with Civil that the next time I come around to ADA ramps I typically drop the curbs with the transition tool then make ramps with featurelines one corner at a time.

But you can see how easy and quick you could do it with autograder if one knew it well.
