Best Way to Create Drainage Longitudinal Sections

Hi all.

I'm looking for the best way to create drainage longitudinal sections without having to manually add alignments along each drainage run, and then manually select each manhole/pipe to show in each section view? I have a network 500+ junctions and would love to know if there was a quicker and more efficient way to create these long-sections.

Thanks!

None that I can think of. Thats a lot of alignments for one network, must be an entire city.

Depending on how the pipe network is drawn, I believe you only need to click on the most downstream and most upstream structures during the "create alignment from network parts command", Civil 3D will select all the parts in what it considers to be the pipe run. Not sure if that helps.
