Batch Plot WILL NOT Apply plot styles ( no matter what I try)

I've searched the forums and tried every suggestion I could find to no avail. Everything I've tried will not work. I've been using AutoCAD for over 20 years and I've never had a problem with this. It always plots color no matter what I do. The only thing I can think of out of the ordinary is that we recently upgraded to 2021 from 2013, and this set plotted fine before. any suggestion will be helpful.

Hopefully, it's just something you missed or forgot to set, but that doesn't sound likely, considering your experience. If you post a screenshot of your Batch Plot dialog, maybe someone will see something you missed. It happens.

Posting your .ctb would be helpful, as would a screenshot of your plot dialog.

Maybe it's a bug in 2021. Do you have 2021.1.1 update? That's the latest. You might also install the 2020 version of Civil 3D and see if that version works.

it's probably using a default page setup. look for a place to apply page setup override or to use the page setup defined in the dwg on each layout tab.

when you say batch plot, what are you using? I use sheet set manager and it wants to use DWG TO PDF unless I tell it to use a page setup override. even then this does not always work. I had a project last week that I finally gave up because it was due that i plotted to individual pdf's and combined in Acrobat. I couldn't find anything anywhere that explained why it wasn't plotting correctly (in this case an annotation layer refused to plot in SSM, but plotted fine in the regular plot dialog).

Thanks for the quick replies, I found the problem. For some reason, I have have ctb files in multiple locations and my batch print was looking for it in a location that was not set in my printer support path. Once I added the path, it found and used the correct one. I still don't know why the regular plot option would find it, but the publish would not. We migrated from 2013 to 2021, maybe some paths changed since then? We had an IT company set everything up so maybe they missed it, who knows? But, yeah, that was it. Again, thanks for the quick replies.

i think that the lesson learned here is that batch plot/SSM does not use the layout tab plot setup unless you tell it to.

This happened to me and it's the plot in background option. When using the background it utilizes vanilla autocad and that file path location instead of the one you are pointing to in your C3D settings. Hope this helps
