Batch Edit Style Names

Hello,

Just wondering if there's a way to batch edit style names?  For example, at the moment most of our Civil 3D styles are prefixed with AAA and I would like to change the prefix to BBB.  If Civil 3D's Find and Replace (FIND command) tool worked with Civil 3D styles this would be a quick fix though doesn't look like that's the case.

Thanks,

Jay

There's nothing out of the box that can do this that I'm aware of. Perhaps some third party apps like those from @Jeff_M or @TerryDotson could do it.

Thanks for the mention.  Our C3DTools has a Name Preplace tool to Find/Replace names and descriptions in Civil objects (such as Alignments & Surfaces).  Anything (like styles) that's missing we would be happy to add quickly.

Sounds good, Terry.  If you add this functionality to your C3D Tools package, please let me know.

3rd party add on SincPac has a command to do it.

Hi @-Just-In-Time-

I think Dynamo is able to do workflows like this

Don't suppose anyone has found a free method to do this? Dynamo would be cool, as would a LISP!
