band label text

I want to create some profile view band styles where the elevation labels need to show what the profile represents.

EG, FG, FL, EOP, etc.

And it may change or be different for Profile 1 and 2.

Is there a way to do this without creating separate styles for each scenario?

@Jeew-m , that's exactly what I'm doing at the moment.

What I would like to figure out is if there was a way to change the prefix without creating a new style everytime.

Today I might need EG-FG. Tomorrow it might be FL-FL or FL-EOP, or EOP-FL, EOP-EOP, etc.

The combinations could vary widely so the style list could grow significantly.

But great video. Jerry always does a good job of explaining. Thanks.

Hate to say it, but it appears to me that there isn't an option to do what you need it to do.

In the "Text Component Editor - Contents" window (see attached snap), the "Properties:" pull-down only gives these options:

Station Value

Raw Station

Station Equation ID

Profile 1 Elevation

Profile 2 Elevation

Profile 1 Elevation Minus Profile 2 Elevation

Profile 2 Elevation Minus Profile 1 Elevation

To do what you need, it would seem that there would have to be other options for referencing Names, Descriptions, etc., but the options they give are very limited.

That's the conclusion I was coming to also. But didn't figure it would hurt to ask.

Thanks.
