Hi,

In Subassembly Composer I created a subassembly that shows the type of vehicle in the road lane. It has the parametric code that can be changed in Civil 3D.

Here I applied a fixed scale

That is a neat idea. Did you have a question, or just wanted to show that it can be done?

Hi @gustavo_bergoya1

So, the user, adds in then subassembly properties, in the top link, the code for the vehicle type and the side (front or back)

In C3D there are predefined link labels, according to the user input code above.

Each link label "calls" a block according to the vehicle type + type that matches with the use input codes.

Does it work like this or i understood wrong?

Regards

How to connect point codes with the same elevation?
is there a specific code string or another way?

Hi,
Good Work.

I remember I did a similar thing sometime back to add a barrier through the available subassemblies in Civil 3D.

I am making a road in a hilly area, I want to make horizontal benches with zero percent slope. The road profile is steep but I don't want daylight benches to follow the road gradient.

for example: Like shown in this dwg file, Road is going down but daylight benches has a specific level.

Hi @melantonuky

Let say that your road is the red line (in a profile view).

No your benches are like the green lines.

You want your benches to follow the blue lines.

Is this what you want to do?
