I am writing to seek your guidance on importing a CSV file into Civil 3D. The CSV file contains points, elevations, and descriptions. Given the variety of descriptions in the file, I would like to create a separate layer for each description during the import process.
I understand that the default layers in Civil 3D are V-NODE for the marker and V-NODE-TEXT for the label. However, my goal is to have the layers dynamically created based on the descriptions provided in the CSV file. This will help in the better organisation of the data and enhance the clarity of the project.
Could you please advise on the best approach to achieve this? Your prompt response would be much appreciated.
