i have a problem coupling an assembly,when i added the ditch it is tieing to the alignment instead of the selected node of the shoulder i have made thus far. attached is a screen shot of the alignment.

Dear Friend,
I think you are using the 'channel' subassembly. The attachment point for this subassembly is the middle of the channel. You can find it here.
However you can make the same ditch by modifying parameters of 'side ditch u shape' sub assembly.
