Assembly creation advice

Any thoughts on how this assembly could be created from stock subassemblies? I started with a Basiclane and couple of GenericPavementStuctures. But I haven't found anything for the Subbase. I could use a LinkMulti or go back to the SAC. But I wanted to see if I'd missed anything in the stock subassemblies.

SAC. All things in SAC. Smiley Very Happy

All humor aside, I would model it in SAC but I would NOT model the travel lane. I would use the stock subassembly for that and then use the Use Output Parameter checkbox in the Civil 3D corridor to pass the travel lane slope to the SAC shoulder subassembly as the SubbaseSlope. This will prevent you from having to recreate the wheel with all of the targets and superelevation that the lane may need. The only downside do this is that you may have a vertical line in the subbase where the 12' lane ends and the subbase under the shoulder continues, (unless you you set your uncoded links in the code set style to no display maybe?).

Not the same but this similar idea (image snagged from a page in my AU2017 handout):

Thank you. I didn't have that one yet. Looks as good as the rest.

Similar to @KMercier_C3D's SAC solution, use an additional GenericPavementStructure on each side for the thickened section of the subbase. Setting the overlapping vertical links to be coded to something that doesn't display and isn't used in construction.

I think I'm jinxed with assemblies. I thought I could use the LaneSuperelevationAOR and create the rectangular are of subbase outside of that. But that doesn't account for the projection of the base course. So I started looking for other stock lanes and fount the LaneInsideSuperLayerVaryingWidth (& Inside) subassembly. More courses than I need but it can be pared down. I started setting that up and noticed that mine doesn't have any of the parameters for the width of the pavement courses.

I just had a similar problem with missing and miss-ordered parameters in the LaneSuperelevationAOR. Autodesk sent me a new Imperial - Lanes.atc file that solved most of the problems. So now it looks like I have to do a Clean Install to see if it fixes the problem.

Do you have any thoughts on which Lane I should start with?
