Arc curving the wrong way

Can’t find any answer on Google, maybe because it’s so simple but my arc is curving the wrong way. For instance, my arc is curving towards the east but I need it to curve to the west, I’ve tried the ctrl key and this reverses the arc in the N/S direction. I can’t seem create complete polylines because of this. Surely it must be a simple answer, anyone know?

Which Arc are you drawing? Do you have a UCS rotation set?

Please describe your workflow. Drawing an arc on a polyline visually selects the direction. Are you using Transparent Commands? If so. Are you using a positive radius for Clockwise and a negative for Counterclockwise?

An Arc coming off a line segment while drawing a polyline is naturally Tangent. Are you trying to draw a non-tangent curve?
