Annotative Text Rotation

How can I rotate my annotative text one direction in a viewport and a different direction in another viewport with a different viewport scale? Text has the scales for both viewports set in the properties.

Edit the text style you use for the annotative text. See where you set it to Annotative? Right below that is Match Text Orientation to Layout. Check that box.

If the viewports are different scales then you can apply a different rotation value to the text object by working thru each viewport into model space.

If you need two viewports with the same scale to have different rotations for the same annotative text object then you would need a duplicate scale to use for the second viewport. (scale with same scale setting but a different name)

Note, when working with annotative text you can't use commands like Move and Rotate on them or you'll move/rotate all scale instances of the text.  You need to use the text grips and rotation properties of the text thru the viewport so that you're only affecting the text at that scale.
