Alignment Start Station Default

I am using Autocad Civil 3D 2017 on windows 10

I looked around these forums and could not find the solution to this picky settings issue. I know this is not even a big deal but where I work we start every single alignment at 1+00.00. As everybody knows the default start station when creating an alignment is 0+00.00. I would like to change that so that whenever I create an alignment, no matter what drawing is open, my default is starting at 1+00.00. Also it would be great if I could get the "add curves between tangents" box unchecked forever.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I do not think there is a setting for this. I would like to do this myself.

Please "like" and "accept as solution" if this resolves your problem!

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous ,  I don't know how to change the default station value if it's possible but you can uncheck the add curves button.  On the toolspace palette so to the settings tab and expand Alignment, then expand Commands, right click on CreateAlignmentEntities and select Edit Command Settings.  Then expand Create from Entities and change Add Curves between tangents to False.  See included pic.

Wow, thanks a lot! I totally forgot about this post but I just changed it in my dwg. It will save me no time but my picky customization has been fixed thanks to you. Thanks again.

Ugh! Sorry this does not work. I confused myself into thinking I fixed it, but I did not actually figure it out yet.

Yeah I couldn't find any "start value" or "starting station" in the dialogue box.
