Alignment Points Added to Surface

Hi, I'm a student that's new to Civil 3D. I made a surface out of survey points and splines that were given by a professor in a CAD file. After making the surface, I made an alignment. For some reason, the PT's and PC's of the alignment got added to the surface as points. Does anyone know why this might have happened/how to fix it?

Was able to figure it out - a few breaklines accidentally got added from another layer. I was able to scrub through all my breaklines and find the ones with elevations of 0 and delete them. I can't find a way to delete this post so I guess I'll leave this here for the archives.

Suggestion: don’t put alignments in sites. That’s why your FL went to zero, I suspect
