Alignment Labels Layer

No aplicable

Hello,

I have several alignments in my drawing. The alignment labels are in different layers. Although when I export the drawing to Autocad 2d the alignment labels become in the same layer (object layer).

Is there a way to get them in different layers after exporting  drawing from civil 3d to AutoCAD 2d?

Thank you.

Dear Friend,

Add a modifier (prefix or suffix) to object layers of alignment labels in drawing settings.

Thanks

I did applied a modifier and in Civil 3d the labels are in different layers, but when I export the drawing to AutoCAD 2d the labels are in the same layer. After exporting to autocad they are not civil 3d objests anymore.

Hi,

Try this <thread link> this is something similar to your issue.

You got two options.

1) make object layer specific layer and then when you extract to cad your label will use whatever layer you assign.

2) make object layer all 0 and when adding your label change the label layer to be something specific so that when you export to cad it will use the layer you assign.

Picking Option 2 means you will make all alignment label style to 0 and you need to assign each alignment station label group to each layer you want to have. See image below as a guide.

Step 1Step 1Step 2Step 2

Cheers,
