Aerial Underlay Rainbow-pixelation

Long time reader, first time contributor.

Been having an issue for months now. After patiently waiting for a forum to address the issue I've bitten the bullet and decided to attempt to add some company to my misery.

Aerial underlays within many of my dwgs since I have upgraded from C3D 2015 to 2016 have been acting very strange.

I get a bizarre rainbow pixelation that appears in the drawing, in random places depending on how zoomed in you are AND within the pdfs generated from said drawings.

I've tried dropping image quality. Trying / downloading new images. Changing UCS. Attaching in every single way possible. The issue isn't going anywhere and I'm starting to feel like Tom Hanks stuck on an island of my own misery. WILSON!

The images have been ecw's and also JPG's orientated via a JPW file. (geolocated aerials)

I've attached examples of what I have been seeing for the past few months now.

Please help.
