Where does the "ader" in ader sheet come from? Does it stand for something?

 

One of my users asked me today and now it's going to bug me until I know LOL

Something to do with Map 3D. There are other "ader" commands.

ADE is the precursor to MAP - the RSHEET means RUBBERSHEET
