Add Labels -> multiple point of intersection not adding labels to all POI's

I'm not sure if this is an issue with a particular label style or what the issue is.

I have a C3D alignment with a label set I created for it that displays PI station and deflection angle. Text is just PI XXX+XX XX°, so just the station value followed by an angle value (rounded to the nearest degree). Currently I have the anchor point set as feature and the anchor point is the middle center of the text (we had a request to turn the labels into attributed shapefile points).

When I do Add labels, multiple point of intersection, select this label style and select the alignment, it does not add labels to all of the POI's on the alignment, only some (if I do just "point of intersection" it will add labels individually if I click near the POI's that are missing labels). I don't know why it's doing this because there is another label style loaded in these drawings by default that displays PI deflection angle in degrees-minutes-seconds, and if you select THAT label style, add labels, multiple point of intersection, it DOES add those at every single POI.

I just noticed the PI-DA angle label style is shown in the add labels dialog box under "Tangent intersection label style" whereas the DA only label is under "Point of intersection label style."

Does anyone know what is causing these to not add correctly?

Can you post a sample drawing with the styles you mentioned?

Sure, see attached. This has the labels in question in it already, and the way they are in there is the way it added them when I did multiple points of intersection.

You need to make a new Point of Intersection label style for the PI and Angle label. You can copy and paste the component contents from your 'PI-WITH-DEF-DOM' to a new style to keep everything as you have formatted it.

Can you elaborate why I need to make a new style? That doesn't make any sense.

Tangent Intersection implies a curve, your alignment has no curves. What I find odd is that a tangent intersection works in some instances with out a curve. I would never have tried to use the tangent label style for a pi that wasn't from the tangents of a curve.

Ohhhh I see what you're saying. Yeah, that makes sense. Those styles were from a template and I never really looked at the fact that one was set up under "point of intersection" the other under "tangent intersection."

I did the new point of intersection label and it appears to work like it's supposed to. Thanks!
