A360 automatically saving file to 2018

I have an issue where the A360 desktop seems to automatically save the files it syncs from 2017 to 2018.  I have Civil 3D 2017 and Civil 3D 2018 loaded on my computer, but generally work in 2017.  When i try to open a file that was created in 2017 and saved to my A360 drive with 2017, i get the message that the file was created with a newer version and all the Civil 3D entities are in a proxy state.  Is there a setting to disable A360 from saving the file in a newer format, or am i left to not use that service if I would like to continue working in 2017?

I may be wrong but I cannot believe that A360 would do that.

I would not think so either, but if i save to A360 as a 2017 file and open prior to the file being synced, I have no trouble.  Once the file syncs with A360 it gives me the message regarding versions.

I had the same issue I had to reinstall the 2017 version of A360 to stop it from doing that.

As noted by others, installing 2018 on your PC replaces A360 with a newer version. Reinstall the older version fixed a similar problem we observed here.
